Info Checker Review - Small Android Information Tool with Deep Hardware Details 2026
Today I am checking one small Windows program called Info Checker. The file size is only 134 KB, so I did not expect much from it. After using this tool on my own devices, I found it can read many hardware details that most Android users never see. If you repair phones, unlock devices, or just want to know what is inside your mobile, this small tool can help
I downloaded the ZIP file from the SHA Mobile Telegram channel. The download size is really only 134 KB, so that part is true. I extracted the file and opened the program on my Windows PC. The interface is very simple. There are no settings and nothing to install. Just connect your phone, enable USB Debugging, and click the scan button.
My Testing
I tested the software on two different phones. The first phone was a Redmi Note 13 5G with a MediaTek processor. The second phone was a Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro with a Qualcomm processor. Both phones were detected without any problem after USB Debugging was enabled
The program collected many details in just a few seconds. It showed the device model, chipset, Android version, API level, security patch, bootloader status, root permission, IMEI numbers, UFS chip information, RAM size, board name, FRP partition path, SELinux status, and many other details. Some of this information is not easy to find from Android settings, so it saves time.
- Device Brand
- Model Number
- Product Name
- Market Name
- Region
- CPU Manufacturer
- Chipset Model
- RAM Capacity
- UFS Storage Version
- UFS Memory Chip ID
- Total Storage Capacity
- Android Version
- API Level
- Security Patch Level
- Build Number
- Bootloader Status
- Root Status
- SELinux Status
- IMEI Numbers
- Bluetooth MAC Address
- FRP Partition Path
- Current Active Slot
USB Debugging Is Required
One thing you should know before downloading this tool is that it only works with USB Debugging. If your phone is connected normally without USB Debugging, the software will not detect the device. After enabling USB Debugging from Developer Options, everything worked normally during my test
You do not need any special knowledge to use it. The software is made for simple use. Even if you are not a mobile technician, you can still use it without reading a guide.
The Real Size Is Bigger Than 134 KB
The ZIP file is only 134 KB, but that is not the complete size of the software.
When I opened the program for the first time, it started downloading some files in the background. These are ADB files that the program needs to communicate with Android devices. After the download finished, the folder size became around 15 MB.
This is not a problem because it only happens once. After all files are downloaded, you can use the tool without an internet connection.
One Problem I Found
Everything was working well during my testing except one small issue.
I connected one phone with 64 GB storage, but the software showed 256 GB instead. I checked the phone again and confirmed that the storage was really 64 GB. So I think there is a small bug in the storage reading section
I also checked the downloaded files with my antivirus before using them. During my testing, I did not get any malware or virus warning. The software worked normally on my Windows PC.
What I Like
- Very small download size
- Simple interface
- Works with MediaTek and Qualcomm devices
- Shows deep hardware information
- Fast scanning
- No complicated setup
- Can be used offline after downloading ADB files
What Can Be Better
- Storage size is not correct on some phones.
- The program should tell users that it downloads ADB files on first launch.
- More chipset support and bug fixes would make it even better.
