How I Ended Up Testing This

I downloaded my updated Python program because I needed to look inside some MediaTek phone software files on my own computer. My Testing

I ran the application on my desktop to see how it handles large software files. I connected a standard MediaTek backup file to the program to try out the system. During my check, I tested the file splitting screen and the address finder to see if the internal numbers match up correctly with standard files. I must mention that this specific automated software tool itself is not tested on a live phone yet, but the background layout code comes directly from the original work made by Melek Saidani.

How I Used It

First, I opened the tool, and it immediately launched my browser to check for updates on gsmyogesh.com. Then I went to the first tab, selected a combined file from my local folder, and clicked the unpack button. The progress bar moved smoothly to 100%, and a second later, I saw the extracted separate parts appear inside my target output folder. Next, I loaded an extracted file into the second tab to calculate the address pointers. Clicking the find button gave me the memory locations right inside the text log view screen.

What Information It Shows

The program gives you clean feedback inside the live logs window. When you load a file, it prints:

The exact file header positions.
The target startup location numbers in a simple list.
The total size of the file package.
Simple steps showing the connection status and whether your patch applied properly.

Things I Found

The program runs very fast because it does not rely on heavy extra software themes anymore. The interface uses a clean blue header layout that scales nicely if you stretch or resize the window. The buttons have a small bounce movement when you hover your mouse over them, which makes the app feel responsive. Adding a blank space placeholder inside the code for a custom icon worked perfectly, and the app picks it up instantly without breaking the view.

Small Problem I Noticed

When I tested a file that did not have a standard MediaTek layout signature, the program didn't give a specific warning pop-up box. It just prints a notice inside the log console text saying the file format doesn't match standard rules. You have to keep an eye on the log window to know if your file skipped extraction. It is not a major bug, but you need to read the terminal text to see what happened

Download Size Reality

Since the tool uses pure standard layouts and basic coding elements, the main file itself is tiny only a few kilobytes. Even if you compile it into a single standalone app with a custom icon, the final file size stays very small and portable. It doesn't download any extra bloatware or slow down your desktop in the background.

Finally My Opinion

I think this simple version is much better for daily work because it doesn't break when external libraries update. The text inside the tabs is simple, so you don't get lost in heavy words. It does exactly what it is supposed to do: unpacks the files, finds the locations, and applies the security patch quickly.
